Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade up to select Tristan Wirfs with the 13th overall pick

Possibly the hottest team in NFL going into 2020, the Buccaneers now have their first round pick in Tristan Wirfs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into the new season with a roster that looks just that…new. New quarterback. New star tight end. And now, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady gets the franchise offensive tackle he deserves.

Tristan Wirfs will be an instant plug and play starter at the tackle position, however the pick poses a new issue. Who plays on Brady’s blind side? Donovan Smith has been holding that position down for the past five years, however an upgrade at the position would be noticeable.

Stay tuned to WyreTap for Day two selections tomorrow evening.
