Career best help the heat win
Two days after Bam Adebayo criticized himself for a Game 5 failure, he arguably took advantage of the critics with his best game of his career. Adebayo’s performance enabled the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals. Adebayo marked a career-high 32 points on 11-for-15 shooting against the Celtics on Sunday, with 14 rebounds and five assists. Furthermore, Adebayo went 10-for-11 from the free-throw line in the 125-113 win.
Adebayo has proven to be a problem for Boston, with his rolls to the rim, attacking the rim, coming off the dribble, and his perfect passes. Boston attempted to stop the Heat with three centers in Game 6, and, when Miami took a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter with four and a half minutes left, the Celtics elected to make their last push without one.

Adebayo was relentless, but the Heat eradicated the Celtics in a balanced manner. Butler scored 22 points on 8-for-19 shooting, with eight assists. Rookie Tyler Herro scored 19 crucial points in the forth and seven assists. Veteran Andre Iguodala, another reserve, scored 15 points going 5-for-5 shooting, including four 3s that helped Miami in critical moments.
The whole team got involved in the victory
Iguodala was vital to this accomplishment, still so bright and productive on both ends of the court. Iguodala was obtained in a deadline-day exchange. Jae Crowder was another player who was part of that trade. Crowder didn’t have his usual 3-point performance but played excellent defense had two Iguodala-Esque swipe-downs guarding Tatum in the end.
